Recreation Practitioner Roundtable

Kipling Community Centre

South East District’s peer network meetings are thriving learning forums where leaders share wisdom, connect with each other, and explore the big questions they face in their roles!

This event will feature a presentation by Flo Frank!

  • Are you navigating small town politics and conflict or “dealing with public” in implementing change or policy?
  • Are you facing disputes, tension, or negativity in your community? We got your back!
  • We hear all the time how it is sooo hard to deal with conflict on volunteer boards and committees – Flo Frank is going to help YOU with this! When you register, you can provide examples of conflict that you are currently experiencing – and Flo will address this in the session!

We also want to make your networking time a lot more relaxed and focused on connecting with others, we will cap off the day with your option of Pickle Ball or Disc Golf! Two of the fastest growing recreation activities in the South East…and we want to give them a try!

This is a great time to network and share successes and challenges with other professionals as well. This event is for recreation programmers, facility managers, directors, aquatics staff, park professionals, community development officers, etc.
