A Partnership Webinar with Parkland Valley Sport, Culture & Recreation District and South East Sport, Culture & Recreation District
Community facilities are among a community’s greatest assets, but too often they are only used for a limited number of activities or during certain times of the year. What if your existing spaces could do more?
In this webinar, participants will explore practical strategies for maximizing the use of community facilities throughout all four seasons. Whether you’re managing an arena, community hall, outdoor recreation space, cultural venue, park, or multi-purpose facility, you’ll learn how to identify new opportunities, attract more users, and increase community impact without major capital investments.
Through real-world examples and creative thinking, we’ll examine how communities can adapt spaces to meet changing seasonal needs, build partnerships that expand programming opportunities, and make the most of the facilities they already have. Participants will leave with ideas for turning underutilized spaces into vibrant community hubs that support sport, culture, recreation, and community connection year-round.
Whether you’re from a village, town, First Nation, municipality, or community organization, this session will provide inspiration and actionable ideas to help your facilities work harder, serve more people, and contribute to a thriving community throughout the year.
