Peer Sharing and Networking

We host a variety of peer sharing events annually to provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, community collaboration and relationship building. All of our networking events are provided free of charge and include refreshments/lunch (depending on the time of day).

Cultural Chats

South East District is pleased to offer virtual Coffee Chats to south east communities. Our community cultural forums are part of our knowledge sharing services we offer to help build the capacity of arts and culture leaders in communities around the south east. These forums are designed to be sessions of learning and networking of varying lengths tailored to your arts and culture community’s needs. Topics include: community cultural successes, engagement in the arts, cultural planning, arts programming, board governance and more!

Virtual RecTalks Coffee Chats

South East District’s Rec Talks are thriving learning forums where Community Recreation Directors and Leisure Service Managers share wisdom, connect with each other, and explore the big questions they face in their roles! Connect via Zoom and join recreation leaders from across the southeast for an online hangout to catch up, chat, ask questions about recreation and seek professional advice. This is for recreation programmers, facility managers, directors, aquatics staff, park professionals, etc.
