Coaching & Officiating For Sport’s Sake…
Welcome to the For Sport’s Sake… Campaign webpage. This webpage is designed to help support our sporting community. Grassroots sports thrive because of dedicated coaches and officials, but these roles are increasingly hard to fill. To help address this challenge, South East Sport, Culture & Recreation District created For Sport’s Sake–a campaign and set of resources designed for potential coaches and officials, community leaders, sport clubs, and grassroots organizations. On this Page, you’ll find:
- Our Guidebook for Getting Started in Coaching & Officiating
- Digital Tools
- Printable Materials
These resources are meant to be shared widely. Use them as you get started on your coaching and officiating journey or to plan your strategy to recruit, retain, and support coaches and officials in your community. Grassroots sports depend on these roles – help foster an environment where they feel welcomed and supported.
