About the Speaker: Kevin Freedman, Governance Guru
Kevin Freedman has more than 40 years of cumulative experience sitting on non-profit, corporate, and public boards over more than 15 years. He has been helping organizations through strategic and operational planning processes, has educated hundreds or directors and prospective directors on effective governance and the role of the board, and has helped update bylaws, policies, and board and operational practices since 2014. He has a master’s degree in non-profit management and governance, is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and teaches in the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Winnipeg.
